WHY IT'S IN THE HUNT

Ultimate Spider-Man #12 comes from Jonathan Hickman's acclaimed reimagining of Peter Parker and his family in Marvel's new Ultimate Universe.

This copy features the striking JeeHyung Lee 1:100 retailer incentive virgin cover, placing Mary Jane Watson against a minimalist blue background with a small spider descending beside her.

The virgin presentation removes the traditional trade dress and allows Lee's artwork to dominate the cover. As the 1:100 incentive edition, this version was distributed separately from Lee's standard trade-dress variant.

Issue #12 concludes the second story arc and the first year of the new Ultimate Spider-Man series, making it an important early issue from the Earth-6160 run.

Graded CGC 9.8 NM/MT with White Pages, this is an excellent high-grade example of one of the standout JeeHyung Lee covers from the series.
