WHY IT'S IN THE HUNT

Kick-Ass #1 launches Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.'s original series and features the 1st appearance of Dave Lizewski as Kick-Ass.

The series introduced an ordinary teenager attempting to become a real-world costumed superhero and became one of Millar's best-known creator-owned properties, later inspiring the Kick-Ass feature-film franchise.

This copy features the collectible John Romita Jr. sketch variant cover, presenting Romita's artwork in its black-and-white pencil-style form rather than the standard cover presentation.

Combining the premiere issue, first appearance of Kick-Ass, Romita artwork and the scarcer sketch-cover format, this is a strong modern key in CGC 9.6 NM+ with White Pages.
