WHY IT'S IN THE HUNT

X-Men #1 launches the 2024 series and a new chapter for Marvel's mutants following the end of the Krakoa era.

Skottie Young turns the new X-Men lineup into a full ensemble gag cover, with the team charging across the page while one confused newcomer asks where everyone is running — only to learn they're not actually going anywhere because "it's just a cover."

With its #1 issue, Legacy #301 status and a cover packed with X-Men characters in Young's unmistakable style, this is a strong pickup for both X-Men and Skottie Young collectors.
