WHY IT'S IN THE HUNT

What If...? Miles Morales #1 launches Marvel's alternate-universe series exploring what might have happened if Miles Morales had taken on the identities of other Marvel heroes — beginning with Captain America.

This retailer-exclusive Mike Mayhew Virgin Edition gives the book an additional collecting angle. Mayhew reimagines the composition of the classic Uncanny X-Men #268 cover, replacing its original lineup with alternate versions of Miles Morales.

The cover brings together the Captain America, Wolverine and other alternate Miles concepts in a single homage image, while the virgin presentation removes the normal front-cover trade dress and allows Mayhew's artwork to dominate the slab.

Graded CGC 9.8 NM/MT with White Pages, this copy combines Miles Morales, a Mike Mayhew exclusive, a classic X-Men homage and a high-grade virgin variant in one display-focused collectible.
