WHY IT'S IN THE HUNT

A great piece of 1990s video-game history, Marvel's Virtua Fighter #1 brought Sega's groundbreaking fighting-game franchise into comics during the launch era of the Sega Saturn.

The one-shot features the original Virtua Fighter cast, including Akira Yuki, Pai Chan, Lau Chan, Wolf Hawkfield, Kage-Maru and Sarah Bryant.

The back cover adds another dose of pure 1995 nostalgia with a full-page advertisement for the cult cyber-thriller Hackers.

A fun crossover collectible for comic, Sega, retro-gaming and Virtua Fighter collectors.
