WHY IT'S IN THE HUNT

Superman #79 is part of DC's landmark 1993 Reign of the Supermen storyline following the death of Superman. The issue prominently features Cyborg Superman during the battle for Superman's legacy.

This copy is especially collectible because the front cover is signed by Dan Jurgens, the longtime Superman creator who penciled the issue and co-created the Cyborg Superman character Hank Henshaw.

The autograph is placed across the upper portion of the cover above the Superman title, leaving the primary Cyborg Superman artwork unobstructed.
