WHY IT'S IN THE HUNT
Following the death of Superman, four mysterious replacements emerge to claim the legacy of the Man of Steel: Superboy, Steel, the Eradicator and Cyborg Superman. Reign of the Supermen became the next major chapter of DC's landmark Death and Return of Superman saga.
This 28-book collection follows the story from Adventures of Superman #500 through Reign of the Supermen, the return of the original Superman and the aftermath in Superman #83.
In addition to the storyline issues, the collection includes multiple regular and special editions from the event, including Collector's Editions of Adventures of Superman #500, Action Comics #687, Superman: The Man of Steel #22 and Superman #78, along with special editions of Superman #82 and Adventures of Superman #505.
Together, these books capture one of the defining Superman events of the 1990s and the introduction and rise of characters who would remain important parts of the Superman universe.
