WHY IT'S IN THE HUNT

Marvel's Black Widow Prelude #1 is the opening chapter of Marvel's official two-part comic prelude to the Marvel Studios Black Widow film.

Written by Peter David with artwork by Carlos Villa, the story revisits Natasha Romanoff's history within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, connecting events and characters from her earlier MCU appearances as her story moves toward her solo film.

The issue features a prominent Scarlett Johansson photo cover, directly connecting the comic to Johansson's portrayal of Natasha Romanoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Beyond Black Widow, the story draws on the wider MCU and features characters including Iron Man, Captain America, Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, Vision, Black Panther and Spider-Man.

Graded CGC 9.8 NM/MT with White Pages, this copy combines a high-grade modern Marvel collectible with an official piece of MCU publishing history.
