WHY IT'S IN THE HUNT

Locke & Key #1 is the premiere issue of Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez's acclaimed supernatural horror series and begins the original Welcome to Lovecraft story arc.

The issue introduces readers to the Locke family and Keyhouse, the mysterious ancestral mansion whose magical doors and keys form the foundation of the Locke & Key mythology.

This is the desirable first printing from IDW Publishing. The initial issue had a comparatively small reported retailer order of approximately 7,560 copies, adding to the appeal of high-grade first-print examples.

The comic series later inspired the Locke & Key television adaptation, bringing Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez's world to a much broader audience.

Graded CGC 9.8 NM/MT with White Pages, this is an outstanding high-grade example of the book that launched the Locke & Key universe.
