WHY IT'S IN THE HUNT

The Amazing Spider-Man #1 launches the 2022 volume of Marvel's flagship Spider-Man series and continues the character's historic numbering as Legacy #895.

The issue begins the Zeb Wells and John Romita Jr. era, bringing JRJR back to Amazing Spider-Man during Spider-Man's 60th anniversary year.

Skottie Young gives Peter Parker his unmistakable stylized treatment, with Spider-Man swinging through sweeping strands of webbing against a nearly solid black background.

The combination of an Amazing Spider-Man #1, Spider-Man cover, Skottie Young artwork and legacy #895 numbering makes this a particularly attractive book for both Spider-Man and Skottie Young collections.
